Biography
Beomjo Park is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Dept. of Statistics & Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Under the guidance of Sivaraman Balakrishnan and Larry Wasserman, his research focuses on robust statistical inference, specifically addressing model misspecification and data corruption. His previous work includes interdisciplinary applications in Oceanography and Biostatistics, with a central emphasis on Bayesian semiparametric models and variational inference.
